Play-Based, Developmentally Focused Curriculum

At First Baptist Preschool, our play-based curriculum supports each child’s intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth in a safe and nurturing environment. We recognize that children develop at their own pace, and our caring teachers provide age-appropriate materials and experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration, and confidence. Learning is engaging and never forced, allowing children to experience success while building essential skills for kindergarten readiness.

Aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards, our curriculum uses hands-on activities and thoughtful guidance to help children make discoveries, problem-solve, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

A Christ-Centered Approach to Learning

As a faith-based Christian preschool, spiritual growth is woven into daily learning at First Baptist Preschool. Through simple prayers, Bible stories, songs, and age-appropriate lessons, children are introduced to Jesus and core Christian values such as kindness, honesty, and love for others. Our distinctly Christian environment nurtures both faith and character, helping children grow in God’s love while learning to care for others.

Ages Served

First Baptist Preschool serves children from toddler age through pre-kindergarten. We provide both early learning and childcare in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

Hours of Operation

First Baptist Preschool is open daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The director has office hours posted in the office door. We strive to be available to all parents every day between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The preschool is closed on all major holidays.
